About the Role:

As a Remote Rust Developer at HackForce.AI, you will be a lead developer responsible for creating new software products and enhancing existing ones. You should be experienced in handling large-scale applications and frameworks and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Responsibilities: Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code
• Develop and support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards through cross-functional collaboration
• Support testing and deployment of new products and features, maintaining high standards of security and performance
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team
• Independently manage medium to high-complexity projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development
• Proven expertise in Rust development
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
• Experience in developing scalable APIs and microservices, with a focus on security and efficiency
• Proficiency in Linux OS and system-level integration
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Proficiency in GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Experience with Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment
• Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Italian is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure cloud platform (preferred)
• Excellent ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work in a remote environment
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
